County Employees Support Various Causes
Westchester County employees are walking, baking and buying raffle tickets to support the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association.
Employees will be participating in the following walks, which the public is invited to attend as well:

Oct. 3, Kensico Dam Plaza, Valhalla
Registration: 9 a.m.; walk begins at 10 a.m. - American Cancer Society
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
Oct. 17, Manhattanville College, Purchase
Registration: 8:30 a.m.; walk begins at 9:30 a.m. - American Diabetes Association
Step Out Walk to Fight Diabetes
Oct. 24, White Plains High School
Registration: 8:30 a.m., walk begins at 10:15 a.m.
In addition, the employees throughout the year hold a variety of breakfasts and luncheons (complete with raffle tickets) to raise funds for these causes.
