Day of Inspiring and Empowering Women in Celebration of Women’s History Month
In celebration of Women’s History Month, prominent women in Westchester County government will play leading roles in the sixth annual Westchester Women’s Summit. The summit will take place on Friday, March 13 at the Sonesta Hotel in downtown White Plains. This year’s program will include:
• Westchester Deputy County Executive Joan McDonald
• Westchester County Director of Operations Emily Saltzman
• Westchester County Commissioner of Human Resources Lisa Denig
• Westchester County Office for Women Acting Director Catherine Borgia
• Westchester County Senior Programs and Services Program Development Director Colette Phipps
The event will kick off with welcoming remarks by Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins, followed by keynote speaker, Hota Kotb, in a fireside chat with News 12 anchor, Tara Rosenblum. Morning and afternoon breakout sessions will focus on four key areas of women's wellness: physical and mental health, financial empowerment, family and community dynamics and career growth. The lunch break will be a chance to network with like-minded women and industry leaders while enjoying interactive experiences at the Discovery Village and browsing the boutique marketplace. The day will conclude on a sweet note with chocolate and conversation.
